who is this for?
This coastal photoshoot experience is for the adventurous souls, the sea bound hearts that embrace the crashing waves and the ones that believe life is better exploring with a dog.
The walk itself isn’t hard however access to the beach area is via stairs only. As a seasoned hiker, you’ll be guided by me throughout the entire experience, keeping you and your dog safe while we are out on the coastline. This photoshoot experience is for adventurous people with fit dogs who don’t mind getting a little sandy.
what can you expect?
A roughly 90 mins coastal walk where we will explore the rock pools, breathtaking cliff formations along the rugged coastlines where you and your dog(s) get to live in the moment while having your memories captured.
can’t be off leash? no worries!
Your dog doesn’t have to be off leash reliable to enjoy this photoshoot experience. A long line can be supplied if you do not have one.

why San Remo?
A small fishing town right before the entry of the popular Phillip Island, this location offers a lower traffic and generally quiet environment making it suitable for dogs who require space or for owners who want a more intimate session. Being able to hike through the rock formations, the flat sand bays and the open sea, makes for a stunning and unique backdrop unlike your typical beach photoshoots.
We walk the coastline together, chat and simply enjoy the view.
My evenings or mornings will solely be dedicated to you.

While the location is not wheelchair accessible and there are no paved paths once we are down by the coastline, it is not a hard walk as long as you do not have any mobility issues (eg. in a cast). I cater the session and how far out to sea we go base of each client and it is highly personalised to match your physical capabilities.
You also have the option to simply have a photoshoot by the flat sandy bay area!

San Remo is located just directly before Phillip Island and is roughly 1 hour 30 mins from Melbourne.
The drive down is easy and scenic once you pass the Melbourne suburbs with plenty of rest stops on the way.

Before the photoshoot, we'll have an in-depth discussion about your concerns, training program, and your dog's personality. This will allow me to cater the session to your needs. The photoshoot can be scheduled for a quieter, less busy day and location.
As an experienced dog handler, I'm comfortable working with "harder" dogs, and believe they and their owners deserve beautiful, treasurable photos. While I generally avoid direct interaction with clients' dogs to maintain a calm energy, I'll use a telephoto lens to create distance so you and your dog can move comfortably.
Your dog(s) do not need to be off-leash for the photoshoot.

No! Absolutely not! If you dog only wish to ran around - we can work with that!
However the easier your dog follows your instructions, the smoother the photoshoot will go. As an experience dog handler, I cater to dogs of all personalities and breed traits, and I'll work collaboratively with your pup's abilities and comfort levels - not against them. You’ll be guided throughout, making this a positive experience for both you and your dog.
Your dog doesn't need to be off-leash for my photoshoots.

What is it like to work with me?

Our chapter together begins with a simple conversation — a chance to get to know you and your beloved dog.
Every family is different, and so is every session. Each one is thoughtfully tailored to reflect your own unique story waiting to be captured.This is the chapter where I learn all about you and your beloved companion — their favourite trick, the place they love most, and the little moments that make up your everyday life together. It’s these details that help me tell your story in the most authentic, heartfelt way possible.

We let your dog.. be a dog. And you.. just being you.
The session always begins allowing your dog to sniff and explore their surroundings while we chat on our walk together. We pose, laugh, play with the dogs and I get my knees dirty down on the ground capturing the little moments and being a treat dispenser. Our session together should feel like a taking a walk together while your dog have fun simply being themselves.
We let your dog… be a dog. And you… just be you.
Every session begins with time for your dog to sniff, explore, and get comfortable in their surroundings while we chat and take a relaxed walk together. From there, we’ll laugh, play, and enjoy the moment — I’ll be right there on the ground (with muddy knees!) capturing those little, genuine interactions… and probably being a treat dispenser.
Our session should feel less like a photoshoot and more like a walk with a friend — where your dog can simply have fun being themselves, and you can relax and enjoy the experience.

Our final chapter unfolds at your viewing gallery, where you’ll see your beautiful photographs for the first time and select your favourites. The collection is personally curated to suit your family and is a mix of formal group photos to natural documentary-like candids of you and your dog.
From here, you can choose how you’d like to bring your story to life through bespoke artwork designed to complement your home and style.
I’ll be there to guide you through every step, ensuring you never feel lost in the process. Each image is individually and thoughtfully edited with meticulous care and attention to detail — your story, handcrafted and defined, ready to be cherished for years to come.
