Thinking of hiring a pet photographer this spring? Here are some upcoming events happening near you.

Waiting for the warmer weather to finally book in in an outdoor pet photoshoot in Australia? Here are some upcoming seasonal sessions that are happening to consider!

Water Minis at Lake Gnangara

with Haggie Snaps Photography

Dogs + Water + Golden Hour.
“What could be better?” - Linds, the owner and founder of Haggie Snaps Photography.

If you’re looking for an outdoor pet photographer in Perth or perhaps you’re on a road trip to WA and is hoping to create some memories you can keep? Haggies Snaps Photography has got you covered for a splashing fun filled evening for both paws and boots as their Water Minis are back for 2026!

Located at Lake Gnangara, in Perth with stunning sunsets almost all year around, Linds is your action loving pet photographer that believes in the wild and silly side of dogs.

Sessions are casual and naturally fun for you and your dog while exploring the lake and surrounding bushland. So if you’re looking for an enjoyable way to spend your evening and capture some beautiful memories along the way, send an expression of interest to Haggie Snaps Dog Photography here, or find out more on her Instagram  @haggiesnaps_photography .

New to the idea of pet photography? Mini’s are a great starting point to see what the hype is all about and why more pet parents are investing in professional photography. Perhaps even grab a friend, as these Mini’s are grouped! Sounds like a good way to catch up for the humans that RSVP only if their dog is invited too.

Cherry Blossoms at Banksia Park

with Malone Photography

Dreaming of a love affair among the cherry blossoms? Instead of booking a plane ticket to Japan, why not just organise a day trip to Melbourne? Anthea from Malone Photography hosts her annual spring photoshoots among the stunning blossoms at Banksia Park.

Last year I participated in her Cherry Blossom photoshoots and was not disappointed at the beautiful photos captured of my family. My sweet girl, Saya (pictured above) among the cherry blossoms.

The photos speak for themselves truly, I don’t think I really need to say much! Does you live with a sensitive soul? Anthea has spent years training and rehabilitating reactive dogs and applies her knowledge to make sure your photoshoot session is fun and stress-free.

This location is perfect for the flower lovers and romantics at heart wanting the perfect evening date with their dog.

Beach Fun at the Gold Coast

with Jumping Jacks Photography

Missed out the last time for a photoshoot in Queensland? Worry not. Katrina from Jumping Jacks Photography is coming back to one of her favourite places in Australia this October! The sun, the beach, the city backdrop and dogs? Sound like a classic recipe of a good time.

Katrina is another speed and action addict that thrives of dogs being a little unhinged and stretching their legs to the limit. Capturing the power behind each jump, you’ll be sure to walk away with photos of your dog in full stride while aiming for the skies. Or the ball.

If you’re interested in having a photoshoot by that embraces both the beach and the scenic Gold Coast backdrop, click here to book in with her while she’s there!

Coastal Experience at San Remo

with The Gumtree Studios

A private seasonal photoshoot adventure like no other, hosted by yours truly The Gumtree Studios. After chancing upon this particular location and falling in love in 2024, I’ve been returning to this very exact place where I’ve theme named “Coastal Silence” each year since.

San Remo is breathtaking location for you to be completely immersed in and share alongside your dog. Turn your photoshoot session into a weekend getaway, explore the islands and landmarks while having your precious moments together captured by the coastline.

San Remo is not your typical beach photoshoot, while there are no surfer boys, tropical trees or martinis.. this little rugged piece of moody heaven instead gives us the raw beauty and power of the coast. No filters needed. The crashing waves drown out the responsibilities we have left back in-land and thus the theme name "Coastal Silence", a place to just be. Just you and your dog.

This private seasonal session is for the wild souls, the adventurous hearts and for the ones that don’t mind the sea breeze weaving in-between their hair. Leave your worries behind and come join me in a coastal dog photography experience like no other.
