After your photoshoot, what’s next?

You did it! Yaaaaaayyyy.

Now that we have finished our photoshoot together. It’s time to really have a good think about what you wish to do with your photos and which artwork you’re would like to invest in. Each product has it’s charm and is handcrafted on demand, check out our full product catalog within the Client Lounge for design and layout ideas to best display your beautiful photos with in your home!

Step 2

Get yourself an A4 size paper or use my session’s “What’s next?” card in your thank you box and stick it onto the wall as size reference.

Take a walk around your house and find a wall space that you love or feel that you’ll face often.

This could be your hallway, above your bed or sofa, or a statement wall that you simply would love to decorate.

DON’T | Select a space near or in direct line of heating and cooling or the fireplace and in areas where high humidity can occur (eg.bathrooms).

Step 1

Take a phone photo of the wall space with the card or A4 paper and email that to me at “hello@thegumtreestudios.com.au”

It doesn’t have to be the most fantastic picture, just straight on eye level and not at an angle. Please make sure that your photo is bright enough or in a well-fitted room.

The photo is best taken during the day in natural lighting.

What happens next?

Your photos will move into the culling stage.

This process is where I carefully pick and curate your photos to depict the relationship between you and your dog and edit some highlights as visual references. It generally takes approximately 2 - 3 weeks and you’ll receive your private viewing gallery link once it is ready.

If unforeseen circumstances happen, please understand that your gallery may be delayed and a new ETA will be updated directly to you.

A link to your custom mobile gallery app will be emailed to you.

Within the week, you should receive your very own custom mobile app that allows you to preview live updates and edited photos before your full viewing gallery is completed. This allows you to better judge how you might want to use your photos for Artwork Products. Within the gallery app, you can also favourite your photos, allowing me to better understand what you love!
