This project celebrates the diverse and passionate people who make up the dog world. It includes dog enthusiasts, trainers, breed club members, preservation breeders, devoted owners, sport dog handlers, pet rescuers, owners of reactive dogs, and pet owners who have built their lives around their canine companions. This project shines a light on the behind-the-scenes movement of true dog devotees - those who are absolutely obsessed with their canine friends and have made dogs the center of their lives, whether through training, advocacy, rescue work, or starting their own pet-focused businesses. This project honors the dedication, perseverance, and love that unites this vibrant community of dog lovers.

This photography project is open to participants from all Australian states. However, the photoshoot location will be held in Victoria, unless an alternative location is discussed and agreed upon beforehand.

I'd like to offer you and your dogs a complimentary photoshoot with me. On the same day, we'll have a chat where you can share the story of your journey together. I'll work with you to revise the story before publishing it on my website's blog and in the "You + Dogs | Because You're Stronger Together" photography book, once I've collected enough stories.

The photoshoot itself will be free, and you'll receive 4 high-resolution photographs of your choosing from the session at no additional cost. I'll provide the photos in a gallery link within 4 weeks, though the timeline may vary depending on my schedule. You'll also have the option to purchase any additional photos from your collection.

The easier your dog follows your instructions, the smoother the photoshoot will go. However, I cater to dogs of all personalities and breed traits, and I'll work collaboratively with your pup's abilities and comfort levels - not against them. Your dog doesn't need to be off-leash for my photoshoots.

Before the photoshoot, we'll have an in-depth discussion about your concerns, training program, and your dog's personality. This will allow me to cater the session to your needs. The photoshoot can be scheduled for a quieter, less busy day and location.

I'm comfortable working with "harder" dogs, and believe they and their owners deserve beautiful, treasurable photos. While I generally avoid direct interaction with clients' dogs to maintain a calm energy, I'll use a telephoto lens to create distance. If requested in advance, we can also schedule a pre-shoot session for your dog to get comfortable with my presence before the main photoshoot.

Your dog(s) do not need to be off-leash for the photoshoot, unless it's for specific sporting display purposes.

It all depends on my workload each month. This is a photography project that I’m passionate about while working at my own time, and I do not wish to hustle for a due date or a quota met. This process is important to better deliver the most accurate story my subject has to offer.

The project itself does not have a time limit, and will keep progressing for as long as I can hold a camera.

After receiving your registration through the mailing list, I will contact you by email to discuss your dogs and gather additional information.

Once I have a better understanding of your story, I will add you to my database. If selected, I will be in touch throughout the year(s). However, if there is an overwhelming number of entries, you may be considered for the following year instead. Please don't be discouraged if you are not chosen this time.

If you are selected, we will work together to schedule a photoshoot date and location that is convenient for both of us and your dog(s).
